    A partire da Zolder, Lauda usò l'AGV X1 "integral air system F1" (prima aveva il classico Bell Star con gli adesivi AGV) Clay aveva il Jeb's, come ha giustamente detto Rocco, del quale venne anche commercializzata la replica (un paio di anni fa al Crame ne avevano una decina) Merzario aveva il Vitaloni

    Anche i piloti sudafricani a meta' anni 70 non scherzavano:i vari Dave Charlton,Eddie Keizan,Paddy Driver correvano il GP di casa con le loro Lotus 72,Mclaren M23 e Tyrrell 004 sponsorizzati da Gunston e Lucky Strike.
