    50 anni fa Lorenzo Bandini, il più grande pilota italiano degli anni '60, era vittima di uno spaventoso incidente alla chicane di Montecarlo a bordo della sua Ferrari 312 mentre era 2° dietro alla Brabham-Repco del futuro vincitore e campione del mondo, Denny Hulme. Morirà tre giorni dopo.

    A proposito di Indy e Alonso: dopo Montecarlo, Bandini doveva disputare la 500 miglia con un team americano, ovviamente col permesso di Enzo Ferrari.
