    MINARDI M188 (1988) with air box During GP of Belgium the M188 with air box above the drivers head was introduced. This car was used during last 6 GPs of the 1988 season.

    MINARDI M188 (1988) without air box Minardi M188 was first Minardi car with normally aspirated engine Ford Cosworth DFZ after 3 years with Motori Moderni turbo engine. M188 was used during the whole 1988 season. Untill the GP of Hungary the M188 was used without air box above the drivers head. There was a change of main sponsor from Lois to Climarron after changing of Pierluigi Martini for Adrian Campos.

    MINARDI M186 (1986) Minardi M186 was introduced during second part of the 1986 season. The car was raced by Andrea de Cesaris during last 6 GPs of the season. This car had more black colour than the M185B.

    MINARDI M185B (1986) The 1985 season model M185 was updated into M185B before the 1986 season. The main change was the reduction of fuel tank from 200 to 195 litres. The drivers were Andrea de Cesaris and Alessandro Nannini. The car was used during the whole 1986 season. During the season was built new model M186, which was used by de Cesaris from GP of Austria.

    MINARDI M185 Motori Moderni (1985) The new Motori Moderni turbo egine was ready for the third GP of the 1985 season. This M185 started in 13 from 14 GPs of 1985 season with Pierluigi Martini as driver.

    MINARDI M185 Ford Cosworth (1985) The new Motori Moderni turbo engine wasn´t ready in time for the first 2 GPs of 1985 season. The first M185 chassis was modified to accept a Ford Cosworth DFY engine through the use of a spacer between the engine and gearbox. The difference was also in the rear end of sidepods. This car started at GP of Brazil and Portugal with Pierluigi Martini.

    MINARDI M184 (1984 test) In 1984 Minardi team decided to enter F1 with their own car. Giacomo Caliri built the prototype model M184 with Alfa Romeo turbo engine. But when Carlo Chiti left Alfa Romeo and found Motori Moderni, the team decided to change the engine supplier to Motori Moderni. The team made some test during 1984 season with Alessandro Nannini.

    DALLARA 188 (1988) BMS Scuderia Italia entered the model Dallara 188 during the 1988 season from second GP of San Marino. The model 188 was used with or without engine cover during the season. Also there were some changes on writing of the main sponsor Marlboro (with or without white stripe under the cockpit).

    FORCE THL1

    LOLA FORCE THL1 (1986) The FORCE THL1 was used by Team Haas also during the 1986 seasons. Alan Jones and Patrick Tambay drove this car with Hart turbo engine at GP of Brazil, Spain and San Marino. From the third (Jones) and fourth GP (Tambay) the THL1 car was replaced by new model THL2 with Ford Cosworth GBA turbo engine. The car from the 1986 season had different sidepods and start numbers.

    LOLA LC89B (1990) In the beginning of the 1990 season Larrousse team started with modified type of LC89 marked as LC89B. The car started at first 2 GPs of the season - GP of the USA and Brazil. The LC89B had different colours as the original LC89 from 1989. The main differences between LC89B and LC90 - both used during 1990 season - were different shape of sidepods and green nose of the LC89B.

    LOLA LC88B (1989) At the beginning of the 1989 season the new LC89 wasn´t prepared. So the Larrousse team rebuilt the LC88 into LC88B and fitted with new Lamborghini engine. The LC88B started only at the GP of Brazil without engine cover.

    OSELLA FA1C (1982) The model FA1C was also used during the 1982 season. Before the season Team Osella made some modifications oo FA1C. The drivers of the car were Jean-Pierre Jarier, Riccardo Paletti and Piercarlo Ghinzani. At the end of the 1982 season the FA1C was modified into FA1D.

The model FA1D used Ford Cosworth engine and Michelin tyres during the 1983 season.

In some materials is the FA1D from 1982 season mentioned as FA1C model. Jean Pierre Jarier drove 5 GPs during 1982 season with Ford Cosworth engine and Pirelli tyres.
