Sono d'accordissimo. Ma è tutta qui la reazione della Ferrari / di tutte le altre squadre? Fossi in loro starei già preparando le macchine per 1000 km di test. Se si viene accusati di qualcosa, si può sempre rispondere "eh, se siamo colpevoli noi allora lo è anche la Mercedes". Pare che come metodo funzioni..

Ho sentito Hembery che lo diceva ieri ad un inviato di Sky, non ricordo chi fosse. Diceva che la Pirelli "ha in mente anche altre soluzioni"..

Secondo Minardi, Raikkonen potrebbe tornare in McLaren (!) perchè Button sta pensando di prendersi un anno sabbatico (!!) o addirittura di cambiare vita (!!!). E' la prima volta che sento una storia del genere, e francamente non ci credo neanche un po'. Eppure mi fa strano che Minardi si lanci in dichiarazioni del genere. Esatto. La Pirelli ha il diritto di chiedere alle squadre di testare, in caso di necessità (che poi, che siginifica "necessità "?). Però il test deve essere eseguito con una macchina di almeno 2 anni fa, se non vado errato. L'incazzatura dei team deriva proprio dal fatto che la Mercedes ha usato la macchina del 2013, facendo testare Rosberg ed Hamilton, a quanto leggo.

I test sono stati effettuati con la macchina del 2013 e con le gomme che verranno usate a partire dal GP del Canada. Un vantaggio enorme sugli altri. Evidentemente a qualcuno serve che la Mercedes smetta di fare schifo in gara..

Pirelli's planned mid-season Formula 1 tyre tweaks are set to be much smaller than originally anticipated after the FIA ruled that changes will only be allowed on safety grounds. [..]in a blow to outfits like Red Bull hoping further tweaks would help them overcome tyre difficulties they have faced, the FIA has made it clear it will not tolerate further changes aimed at reducing the number of pitstops or decreasing degradation.

Pirelli will make changes to its tyres from the Canadian Grand Prix in a bid to rein back the excessive degradation that has affected Formula 1 this year. After admitting that having four-stop races like the Spanish Grand Prix was too much, Pirelli is to change the tyre structures so they incorporate some of the characteristics from 2011 and '12. Further meetings are also taking place at its Milan headquarters this week to evaluate whether or not further compound tweaks will be needed.
