Ma comunque faccio fatica a seguire il ragionamento di Bernie. A lui interessa solo avere il maggior pubblico televisivo possibile, no? Come può non rendersi conto che tutta questa artificiosità sta avendo esattamente l'effetto opposto?

Nel frattempo riescono dalla tana i soliti fenomeni.

Il colosso fin'ora è stato la causa principale della situazione ridicola della squadra. E poi che discorso è, certo che a un tifoso di una squadra così grande non possono che cascare le palle quando ci si ritrova a combattere per il 12° posto. Ma visto e considerato dove eravamo l'anno scorso grazie alle mirabile made in Japan, già andare costantemente a punti sarebbe un passo in avanti enorme.. Nè McLaren nè Honda sono lì per fare le comparse. Ma serve tempo.

Per altro, non capisco il ragionamento per cui Vettel finisce terzo come l'anno scorso ma la Ferrari è chiaramente migliorata e Button finisce dietro alla Sauber come l'anno scorso (edit: non in Australia, intendo in generale) ed è perchè la McLaren fa sempre schifo.. le gare vanno analizzate per intero.

Hamilton non riusciva a passare Verstappen e dubito che la Mercedes sia al livello della Toro Rosso

Su questo sito si possono confrontare i tempi ottenuti giro per giro da tutti i piloti. Guardando la gara di Button, il passo su gomme medie non era affatto male. Meglio di quello delle Toro Rosso, delle Force India e di Bottas, leggermente meglio anche di Massa, decisamente superiore alla Haas in tutte le condizioni. Sulle gomme più morbide invece siamo più in difficoltà, abbiamo troppo degrado. Probabilmente dipende dal software non ancora ottimizzato. Ricciardo invece va decisamente più forte. Alla speed trap (ho trovato solo quella delle qualifiche), Button e Alonso sono ancora verso il fondo, con rispettivamente 320.4 e 320.2 km/h. Dietro di loro solo Kvyat e Verstappen. Hulkenberg è arrivato a 330.3, Hamilton 328.1.

Jenson aveva un passo eccezionale considerando le aspettative. A meno di un secondo da Hamilton. Pazienza, ora almeno sappiamo che non sarà come l'anno scorso, nonostante il risultato. È bello vedere Alonso parlare tranquillamente coi giornalisti.
