Era considerata una delle più dure già da percorrere sull'asciutto per arrivare domani a Jeddah..... ma.... udite udite.... a Yanbu (luogo del bivacco di oggi) diluvia! Secondo Internò, a meno di colpi di scena strani, Benavides ha la vittoria in tasca, ma stiamo a vedere... questa Dakar ce ne ha fatti vedere di colpi di scena... ma nella sua descrizione dice anche "Ancora tanti colpi di scena al vertice della classifica, la gara si deciderà solamente domani!".... inteso.... dice che è difficile per Sunderland, partendo 1° domani, recuperare 4 minuti.
