MINARDI M185 Ford Cosworth (1985)

The new Motori Moderni turbo engine wasn´t ready in time for the first 2 GPs of 1985 season. The first M185 chassis was modified to accept a Ford Cosworth DFY engine through the use of a spacer between the engine and gearbox. The difference was also in the rear end of sidepods. This car started at GP of Brazil and Portugal with Pierluigi Martini.
